Who can participate in the Hackathon?
The Hackathon is open to:
1. Biz Futurists Developers: Senior Web3 developers, DeFi startup founders or co-founders, and CEOs/CTOs of software development agencies who have experience in the DeFi space and are looking to build and scale sustainable businesses using blockchain to address traditional finance challenges
2. Senior Web2 Developers: Experienced Web2 developers, aspiring founders, and individuals who have a strong interest in or are researching the DeFi and fintech sectors.
3. Eligible Individuals: Individuals who are at least of legal age in their jurisdiction at the time of entry.
4. Teams: Groups of eligible individuals
5. Organizations: Entities such as corporations, not-for-profit corporations, limited liability companies, partnerships, and other legal entities that are organized or incorporated at the time of entry.
I'm new to XRPL - Can I still participate?
Absolutely! Our events are open to both beginners and veterans of the Web3 world. This event in particular will be tailored to attendees who have experience with Web2 technologies and are interested in building on Web3 for the first time
How can I register for the event?
You may enter by visiting XRPL SEA Website and following the below steps:
1. Register for the Hackathon on the Hackathon Website by clicking the “Register” button
2. Complete and enter all of the required fields on the Register page of the Hackathon Website and submit
3. Complete and enter all of the required fields on the “Enter a Submission” page of the Hackathon Website (each a “Submission”) during the Submission Period and follow the requirements below
4. Participate in a comprehensive interview with our panel of experts to showcase your project, discuss your approach, and receive valuable feedback to refine your submission
5. Gain access to dedicated tech support to assist with any technical challenges you encounter during the Hackathon
6. Work closely with a business mentor who will provide guidance on market strategies, business models, and scaling your idea
7. Engage in the Hackathon in person by joining the physical event. Network with fellow participants, collaborate in real-time, and experience the energy and excitement of the Hackathon environment
Is there a registration fee for participating in the event?
The event is 100% free for attendees (including food).
